DADesign Screen

DADesign (AM directional antenna design program) allows the user to specify the tower line and spacing, null position relative to tower line, null depth and desired power. A pattern meeting the input criteria is automatically designed. The user can then fine-tune the pattern by altering parameters. Protections, shown as black dots in the example above, are optionally displayed on the screen, and these dots turn red if the IDF on that radial exceeds the protection value at the pertinent vertical angle. The user can check predicted driving point impedances and power distribution on the fly. DADesign interfaces with other allocation tools in the ACSL Broadcast Engineering package.
